Leadership Legacy Experience is a prestigious, one-year-long program—established in 2007—designed for undergraduate students at UConn, Storrs who are eager to 1) learn more about themselves and 2) become stronger, more effective leaders.

At its core, the program is a powerful journey of self-discovery, offering students the time, space, and support to reflect deeply on their values, strengths, and leadership potential. Through entirely hands-on, personalized small-group workshops—led by experienced leaders and professionals—and immersive, fully funded off-campus excursions, participants develop practical leadership skills while gaining a deeper understanding of who they are and how they lead.

Students join a selective cohort of just 10–14 peers, fostering a close-knit, supportive environment where meaningful growth happens. With access to nearly 20 years of Leadership Legacy alumni, students also build lasting connections and receive valuable mentorship. Admission is by application only.
